At global insurance firm Aviva I worked with Lucie Barrass, Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager, to create greater impact and influence in her style of leadership. This meant developing an approach to her leadership that enabled her to work with greater clarity and belief.

 

I asked Lucie what were the key outcomes from our coaching sessions:

Rowan has been a rock and a rocket for me in equal parts. Our coaching sessions were a key catalyst in my ability to challenge the culture in my business because I re-discovered my belief and ability to collaborate with others. He offered a different perspective on what it means to be valuable in an organisation.

 

Recently I applied this new way of working when I led a team of people to create a TV advert in difficult circumstances. Normally it would take 12 weeks with lots of angst. Instead we took 4 weeks and the process was easy. My change in mindset meant I had the confidence and agility to work with greater transparency and effectiveness.

I delivered this project representing Relume where I work as an Associate.
